TISAX

TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is the automotive industry's assessment and exchange mechanism, run by the ENX Association, for showing partners that information is protected to an agreed level. Assessments are made against the VDA Information Security Assessment (ISA) catalogue: an Information Security module that every participant completes, plus Prototype Protection and Data Protection modules for organizations that handle client prototypes or process personal data for clients. Car makers and their suppliers commonly require a TISAX label before sharing sensitive designs, prototypes or data. This framework follows ISA 2027.1, which applies to assessments ordered from 1 January 2027; assessments ordered earlier may still use ISA 6.
