ISO 42001:2023
ISO/IEC 42001 specifies requirements for an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS) for organizations that develop, provide or use AI systems. Clauses 4 to 10 cover context, leadership, AI risk assessment and treatment, AI system impact assessment, operation, evaluation and improvement, while Annex A lists reference controls for AI policy, roles, resources, impact assessment, the AI system life cycle, data, information for interested parties, responsible use and third-party relationships. It is the certifiable standard customers increasingly ask AI vendors for to show responsible and accountable AI governance.
