ISO 27001:2022
ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard for running an information security management system (ISMS). Clauses 4 to 10 set the management system requirements, such as scope, leadership, risk assessment, internal audit and continual improvement, while Annex A lists 93 reference controls that are selected and justified in a Statement of Applicability. Organizations of any size certify against it to show customers and partners that information security is managed systematically, and it is often expected in enterprise and European procurement.
